Our group is composed of four different saxophones.  Bari sax is played by Annie Saltee (Sophomore), Tenor sax is played by Cat Ballestrasse (Junior), Alto sax is played by Katyrose Jordan (Senior), and Soprano sax by Mara Bush (Senior).  We have been playing together for many years, along with the rest of the SWHS Jazz Band.  We play for a reason.  Someday at 8pm someone is going to walk into your concert hall and bring you a mind that is confused, a heart that is overwhelmed, a soul that is weary. Whether they go out whole again will depend partly on how well you do your craft” (Karl Paulnack).
